FFXIV beta and alpha information
As most of you probably already know, last weekend we sent one of our own staff to Vana’Fest in Tokyo, Japan and he reported a lot of interesting information about both FFXIV and FFXI. He’s going to post much more information this week, so make sure to check back for that!
Since then, a few things have happened. A lot of people are reporting that they’ve received invitations to the FFXIV beta (alpha?) and we’re going to make sure to see if we can get more information on this and will update the news over at FFXIVCore if that’s the case.
Also, the ‘locked’ FFXIV beta sites for North America, Europe and Japan are up, but with limited access until the beta (alpha?) begins, which is the 11th March. Even then, only those with an invitation will have access. You can view the three sites in question here:

If new to how beta and alpha testing works, you can read more here. Also know that alpha always starts before a beta test. Worried about your beta submission?
